Author Margaret Hyde and Illustrator Amanda Giacomini will be sharing and reading the journey of Mo Smells Red with attendees of the Junior Blind of America’s Family Resource Day at the Junior Blind of America Campus on September 20th and the Roots & Shoots event at Griffith Park, Los Angeles, CA on September 21st from 11-4pm.
Each year in support of the United Nations International Day of Peace, members and friends of Roots & Shoots, of the Jane Goodall Institute come together to celebrate. Hosted by Keely and Pierce Brosnan. With an Eco Fabulous Celebrity Fashion show presented by the Hot Moms Club. Live Music by Leather Souls, Cord with Rami Jaffee (Foo Fighters).
Mo, a loving rescue dog, uses his nose to smell colors (dogs only see in black and white). Scentevents and IntelliScentsTM teamed up with Mo’s Nose, LLC to introduce the new “Press 2 Smell” system developed for the Mo’s Nose book series. “Press 2 Smell” utilized the patented ScentPakTM technology from IntelliScentsTM and incorporates a collection of custom Scents: Strawberry, Rose, Fire and Love (chocolate chip cookies), designed by Neal Harris of Harris Fragrances, LLC and Custom Essence, Inc.
