pamelaManaging a consumer-driven business in today’s marketplace is not for the timid. But, Pamela Ferrari is anything but timid, which is the core of her success as one of the Bay Area’s hottest new event designers. Her special event design and management company, Pamela Ferrari Productions, is creating quite a buzz in the industry for her cutting-edge presentations which she refers to as a Feast for the Senses. She represents the new face of young women entrepreneurs who are turning their creative passions into successful business ventures. Of course, the prerequisite for today’s entrepreneur is a combination of gut instinct, talent, determination, vision and tireless energy. She has parlayed her considerable sales and marketing experience in the Women’s Healthcare field into a blossoming special events company. The driving force behind her success is passion.
“You’ve got to love what you do”, says, Ms. Ferrari.

And, that philosophy was rewarded at the recent Girari Spring Tabletop Decorating Shootout held at the Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles where she took home the coveted People’s Choice Award for her dramatic presentation. The Girari regional competition featured 11 teams of top event producers, and floral designers from California, Nevada and Arizona vying for over $10,000 in prize awards. The Spring competition challenged each team to design and present their own creative table top interpretations using an array of contemporary Girari Sustainable Event Furnishings in an outdoor garden setting. To create a Feast for the Senses, Pamela Ferrari brought her talented team of floral, culinary and visual artists together to bring her vision to life. Bar height glass tables with brushed chrome legs flanked by 6 – tall lemon trees with dangling crystal jewels provided the back-drop around which her citrus-inspired design was created. Two life-size sculptured ice waiters presented trays of crystal fluted glasses of sparkling champagne. The towering floral arrangement of white Calla Lilies and peach French tulips created by Janice Sulcer-Anderson, designer and owner of Oakland-based Butterfly Catchers, was spectacular. Crystal urns containing live fluttering Monarch butterflies were quite a hit with the audience. Adding delightful and titillating citrus aromas to the presentation was Neal Harris of Scentevents. The dramatic eye-popping atmosphere created by the Pamela Ferrari Productions team, captivated the audience and fellow designers, left them breathless and made her the hands-down favorite for the People’s Choice Award for her outstanding creativity. “This was a great opportunity to showcase our creativity in Los Angeles and within the event industry. Winning the People’s Choice award confirms that Pamela Ferrari Productions continues to create decor that can touch people’s emotions.  “We strive to create magic!”, says Ms. Ferrari. With the level of passion, vision and creativity this young entrepreneur is exhibiting, there’s no doubt that every event with the Pamela Ferrari Productions name on it will be dramatic and memorable!
